Your Injury and Illness Prevention Program built to Title 8 §3203 and filled in with your company, with the heat illness prevention plan. Every element cited to the rule, in English and Spanish.
What's in your IIPP
Every California employer needs a written IIPP (Title 8 §3203), and it is Cal/OSHA's most-cited standard. These are the parts the rule requires, and what 29Safety gives you for each.
Who runs the program
The person or people with the authority and responsibility to run your IIPP, by name and role, so an inspector sees right away who owns it.
§3203(a)(1)How people follow it
Your system for making sure employees work safely: recognition, training and retraining, and discipline, written the way you actually run it.
§3203(a)(2)Talking with your crew
How you talk safety with everyone in words they understand, and how anyone can report a hazard without fear of reprisal. Weekly talks in English and Spanish, signed on the crew's phones.
§3203(a)(3)Finding hazards
Scheduled inspections, plus the ones the rule calls for when the program starts, when new equipment, materials or processes come in, and when a new hazard turns up. Done on a phone and filed.
§3203(a)(4)Looking into injuries
Your procedure for investigating occupational injuries and illnesses, tied to the incident report and your OSHA 300 log.
§3203(a)(5)Fixing hazards in time
How unsafe conditions get corrected, by how serious they are, and what happens with an imminent hazard. Each corrective action is tracked until it's closed.
§3203(a)(6)Training
Training when the program starts, for new hires, for new assignments, when new hazards come in, and for supervisors. Training records with alerts before a card expires.
§3203(a)(7)The records
Inspection records and training records kept the way §3203(b) asks, at least one year, ready when Cal/OSHA asks for them.
§3203(b)The heat illness prevention plan (§3395) comes with it. Walk through a sample JHA or a sample toolbox talk, part by part.
On construction jobs: §1509
Construction employers in California owe a little more under Title 8 §1509. 29Safety covers it in the same account.
Code of Safe Practices
A written Code of Safe Practices for your operations, posted at each job site office or handed to each supervisor.
§1509(b), (c)Toolbox meetings every 10 working days
Supervisors hold toolbox or tailgate meetings with their crews at least every 10 working days. The weekly talks with crew sign-in cover the meetings, and the record keeps itself.
§1509(e)Supervisor safety meetings
Regular meetings with supervisors about safety problems and accidents, written into your program so it's clear who holds them and how often.
§1509(d)

One trial per company. If the email address used to sign up already had a free trial, there is no trial: the plan starts, and is charged, the day you sign up.
A build is a document Harli writes for you: a JHA, a toolbox talk, a program. Prices in US dollars. Payments by Stripe.
