Three pages from the construction sample pack: a job hazard analysis, a toolbox talk record and a trench inspection

See exactly what you'd get

Five finished documents for a made-up jobsite crew, straight out of 29Safety: a job hazard analysis for a storm drain trench, a toolbox talk record the crew signed on their phones, a daily trench inspection, a competent person designation, and the prequalification packet a GC asks for. 21 pages, no watermark.

It opens right away too. We send the pack, one note two days later, and nothing else. Privacy.

When someone asks for your paperwork

A general contractor, an owner, a prequal platform, an insurer or an OSHA inspector. Each one asks for a specific document. These are the four we get asked about most, and what 29Safety hands you for each.

Site-specific safety plan (SSSP)

One plan per job, built from your written program: scope, site contacts, competent persons, the hazards by phase, emergency information and the crew's sign-offs. The GC gets it before you mobilize, not after the first walk-through.

Built from your 1926 program and the job's JHAs

Prequal packet for a GC, ISNetworld or Avetta

Your written programs, training records, 300A summaries and insurance documents bundled into one PDF, in the order a prequal questionnaire asks for them. One click, current every time.

Programs cited to the paragraph the reviewer checks

Job hazard analysis (JHA)

Pick the task; the hazards, controls and the rule behind each are already there. The crew reads it and signs on their phones, even with no signal, in English or Spanish. The signed JHA is filed under the job.

High-risk work flags a competent person automatically

Toolbox talks with sign-in

A new talk every week in English and Spanish. The crew signs on a phone or by QR code, attendance logs itself, and the record is there when the GC or the inspector asks for last month's talks.

52 talks a year, bilingual

Walk through a sample JHA or a sample toolbox talk, part by part.

In a state-plan state? Your state's written program, by name

California, Washington, Michigan and Minnesota cite employers for not having the state's own written program, and it is often the first thing their inspectors ask for. 29Safety builds to your state's rule, set from the address on your account.

California: Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)

Required of every California employer (Title 8 §3203) and Cal/OSHA's most-cited standard. 29Safety builds your IIPP with its required elements, plus the heat illness prevention plan (§3395). On construction jobs, §1509 adds a Code of Safe Practices and a toolbox meeting at least every 10 working days; the weekly talks with crew sign-in cover the meetings.

Title 8 §3203, §3395, §1509

Washington: Accident Prevention Program (APP)

Required of every Washington employer (WAC 296-800-140; construction WAC 296-155-110). 29Safety builds your APP, and on construction sites the weekly crew safety meetings with sign-in that L&I looks for.

WAC 296-800-140, 296-155-110

Michigan construction: Accident Prevention Program

MIOSHA requires a written accident prevention program from construction employers (Construction Safety Standard Part 1, R 408.40114), and it tops MIOSHA's construction citations. Start from 29Safety's Safety & Health Program; Harli drafts the MIOSHA version as a custom program on any plan, for you to review.

MIOSHA Part 1, R 408.40114

Minnesota: AWAIR program

Minnesota requires a written A Workplace Accident and Injury Reduction (AWAIR) program in listed industries (Minn. Stat. 182.653, subd. 8). The list (Minn. R. 5208.1500) takes in every heavy civil and specialty trade contractor, many kinds of manufacturing, and warehousing; building construction (NAICS 236) is not on it. Start from 29Safety's Safety & Health Program; Harli drafts the AWAIR version as a custom program on any plan, for you to review.

    Harli

    Synthetic intelligence, on every plan

Harli is synthetic intelligence (SI), built into 29Safety. She's on every page of the app and every phone, day and night. Type it, say it, or snap a picture, in English or Spanish. Tell her something about your company once and she keeps it, for your company only.

    • Rules for your stateDo I need shade at 80 degrees in California?

Federal OSHA and every state plan. She pulls the official text live for federal rules, California and Washington, and searches official state sites for the others. She always names the rule and the agency that enforces it.

    • Anything in your recordsWhich JHAs still need crew signatures?

Workers, cards, JHAs, permits, inspections, incidents, equipment, SDS, subs: she finds it and links you straight to it.

    • Paperwork, written for youWrite a toolbox talk on silica for Monday.

JHAs, pre-task plans, toolbox talks, SOPs, and custom programs, saved in your account as drafts you review and sign.

    • Photos from the fieldWhat's wrong with this scaffold?

She spots hazards and reads data plates and chemical labels. The photo isn't saved. If you ask her to log it, she saves a written note.

    • Recordkeeping, step by stepA guy got 3 stitches. Is that recordable?

She asks the one question that decides it, gives you the answer under Part 1904, and opens the incident report when you're ready.

    Questions

Anything else: safetyteam@29safety.com, or book a free 15-minute call.

What is Harli? Is she a real person?
No, she's software, not a person. She answers from the official OSHA text, the state plans and your own records, not from memory, and every rule she cites is checked against those sources before you see it. She never decides whether you meet a rule; that's up to you and your competent person.
Can Harli see my company's data?
Only what the person asking is allowed to see. A crew member asking Harli gets what they'd see in the app and nothing more. Your data isn't used to train the models behind Harli, and photos you send her aren't saved in your account or anywhere else in 29Safety.
What if Harli gets something wrong?
She can misread a photo or miss a detail you didn't mention. That's why the programs and JHAs she writes are saved as drafts for you to review, and why she cites the rule so you can check it. Treat her like a sharp assistant, not a competent person.
Does 29Safety guarantee we meet OSHA's rules?
No, and be careful of any software that says it does. 29Safety gives you programs and records built from OSHA's requirements, with the rule cited on every item so you can check it. Your competent person still has to review them and actually run the program on site.
    Which states do you cover?
All of them. Federal OSHA covers private employers in most states. 22 State Plans (21 states and Puerto Rico) cover private employers with their own rules, and 7 more cover only state and local government workers. Your home state is set from your billing address when you sign up, and you can change it in Settings. If your state runs its own plan, Harli answers with that plan's rules where they differ from federal OSHA. Work across a state line? Add a second state pack for $19 a month.
Will it work for my industry?
Two rulebooks are built in. Construction (29 CFR 1926): earthwork, concrete, framing, roofing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, paving, demo, general contracting. General industry (29 CFR 1910): manufacturing, warehousing, fabrication shops, power generation, data centers, battery and equipment service. Pick one or both in Settings. If you do something unusual, Harli drafts a custom program on any plan, and the 29Safety safety team can write one for you ($349).
    Is it really in Spanish?
Talks, JHAs, inspections and every sign-in screen come in Spanish, and each worker picks their own language. Written programs turn into their own Spanish version with one button. This page too: pick Español in the menu.
Does it help with ISNetworld or Avetta?
29Safety builds a prequal packet with documents those platforms usually ask for: written programs, training records, and OSHA 300A summaries. Each questionnaire is different, and no software can promise a passing grade. If you want help filling yours out, book a working session with the 29Safety safety team, or have the team write the programs your GC asks for: the Bid and prequal packet is $795.
    Who owns my data?
You do. Your records download as PDF or spreadsheet files from each section.
How is my data kept safe?
Each company's records are walled off from every other company's in the database itself. Any login can turn on two-step sign-in (a code from an authenticator app) under Settings, Password and two-step. Once it's on, the database won't hand over that person's records without the code, and 29Safety's own admin access requires it. The safety team sees what you send it, like a question Harli hands over. To look at anything else in your account it needs support access, which only an owner or admin can turn on (under Help from the team), and it shuts off after 24 hours or when you turn it off. Card numbers go to Stripe and never touch our servers. Your data is stored in the U.S., encrypted in transit and at rest, and the database is backed up every day.
    What if I stop paying?
Your account locks when a payment fails or your paid time runs out, and it opens again the moment you pay. While it's locked, nothing is deleted, and the owner and admins can still email themselves a copy of their records. We send a reminder when it locks and another a week before day 90. At 90 days, the owner and admins get a full copy of their records by email before the account is deleted. OSHA requires employers to keep some records for years, so we never hold them hostage.
Can you actually come to our site?
Yes, anywhere in the U.S. The on-site days and their prices are in the list above. OSHA's free On-Site Consultation Program is worth a call too.

Your next prequal is already on someone's desk.

Your first written program is ready about 10 minutes after you sign up.
